3 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves center Naz Reid (back) has been ruled out for Monday's game against San Antonio as he battles back spasms. Reid has been an integral member of Minnesota's second unit this season, but his capped minutes (16 per game) puts the kibosh on his season-long fantasy relevance. Without him in the mix, Karl-Anthony Towns can be expected to absorb a handful of additional minutes, while Malik Beasley should have an even greener light to shoot at will off the bench. With Jarred Vanderbilt (quad) also down in the frontcourt, Jaden McDaniels and Nathan Knight stand to see elevated roles. Reid's next chance to suit up comes Wednesday vs. the Lakers.--Jesse Borek
