NBA Has Begun Tampering Investigation Against Knicks
2 years agoThe NBA has begun its investigation of the New York Knicks for supposed tampering surrounding the four-year, $104 million signing of free-agent point guard Jalen Brunson. The league will dive into the details of New York's coveted offseason acquisition of the 25-year-old, specifically to see if the team had been in contact with him before the start of free agency. The hiring of Brunson's dad, Rick Brunson, as an assistant coach will also be looked into further. If found guilty, the Knicks may be forced to pay a hefty fine, or even worse, forfeit a draft pick. However, Brunson likely won't face any consequences, so fantasy managers can add him to their rosters without trepidation.
