5 years agoMinnesota Twins designated hitter Nelson Cruz had another great day at the plate on Sunday afternoon, swatting 3-for-6 with a two-run homer and three RBI in the Twins 12-2 victory over the Detroit Tigers. This marks the fourth straight game with a home run for Cruz, and he's now slashing .279/.359/.565 on the year with 11 homers and 28 RBI over 147 at-bats. Cruz missed about three weeks of the season with a strained left wrist, but he's healthy now and provides plenty of pop in the middle of the scorching-hot Minnesota Twins lineup.
