Nemanja Bjelica Delivers Scoreless Performance In Loss
5 years agoSacramento Kings power forward Nemanja Bjelica was held scoreless for the first time this season during Wednesday’s defeat to the Oklahoma City Thunder. Bjelica came into the night averaging a career-best 12.6 points per game this season, while enjoying an especially hot month of January that saw him shooting 53.5 percent from the field overall and 48.3 percent from long range. But nothing clicked Wednesday, as he shot 0-for-5 from the field and committed four turnovers in his 24 minutes. He managed to add five assists, but was also held off the glass entirely. He will look to wash the dud outing from his ledger Thursday when he faces the Clippers, although the current logjam in the Sacramento frontcourt isn’t likely to do him any favors moving forward.
