7 years agoDallas Mavericks forward/center Nerlens Noel played over 20 minutes for the first time since returning from a thumb injury and had a strong performance off the bench on Tuesday with eight points and a season-high 14 rebounds in 26 minutes. He also had a block and a steal, shooting 3-for-6 from the floor. Noel could be a starter soon if he keeps this up, as Rick Carlisle has liked to switch it up quite a bit over the course of the season. Dwight Powell logged 24 minutes as a starter and posted a mediocre fantasy line with 14 points and four rebounds, so Noel's promotion might even happen sooner than we think.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
