3 years agoNew York Knicks center Nerlens Noel (knee) has been ruled out for Friday's contest against the Magic due to knee soreness. Head coach Tom Thibodeau was optimistic about Noel getting back in the mix in the near future, per Fred Katz of The Athletic, but in the meantime, New York's frontcourt depth will continue to be tested. Mitchell Robinson stands to see a sizable minutes share with both Noel and Taj Gibson (personal) down. While Noel thrived when Robinson went down in 2020-21, the big man's return forces Noel onto the waiver wire in nearly all season-long formats.--Jesse Borek
