3 years agoNew York Knicks center Nerlens Noel (knee), who has yet to play this season, will take the court for the first time on Wednesday against the Pacers. Head coach Tom Thibodeau didn't specify whether Noel would see a full complement of minutes, though it would be surprising to see him thrown into the fire given that his knee soreness seemed to linger for several days. Still, he has averaged 6.2 rebounds, 1.5 blocks and 1.3 steals per game in 22.4 minutes for his career, so there's clear defensive upside, even if the Knicks decide to ease him in.--Tim Capurso
