3 years agoNew York Knicks centers Nerlens Noel (knee) and Taj Gibson (groin) have been cleared to suit up Tuesday vs. the Nets, giving the team their full allotment of rotational big men. Injuries have curtailed the start of Noel's year, limiting him to just eight games thus far; when healthy, he has averaged 4.6 points, 6.4 boards, and 1.6 blocks on a nightly basis. Gibson gets back into the mix after a five-game absence, although his role with New York's second unit is limited with both Noel and Mitchell Robinson (illness) cleared for action. Neither Noel or Gibson merits season-long interest at this stage, but an absence from Robinson would pave the way for either to become a short-term stream option.--Jesse Borek
