New Orleans Inks Didi Louzada To Deal
4 years agoFree-agent point/shooting guard Didi Louzada officially signed his deal to join the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday. The 6-foot-5, 21-year-old Brazilian appeared in 20 games with the Sydney Kings in the NBL this season and averaged 8.8 points and 3.7 rebounds per game across 24.1 minutes. Having appeared with the Brazilian national team during the 2019 FIBA World Cup, New Orleans stands to add the young guard to their considerable backcourt mix. Until the youngster acclimates to the NBA, he can remain on the waiver wire in all formats, although he could become a factor next year if Lonzo Ball moves elsewhere in free agency.
