4 years agoDetroit Pistons point/shooting guard Derrick Rose (personal) has been ruled out for Saturday's game versus the Lakers as the team is nearing a decision on where to trade the veteran. Shams Charania of The Athletic reports that the New York Knicks are moving along in discussions to reunite Rose with head coach Tom Thibodeau, whom he played for from 2010-15 as a member of the Bulls. Rose also has history with the Knicks, where he averaged 18 PPG during '16-17. With New York already having a glut of backcourt members siphoning minutes from one another, Rose's fantasy value would undoubtedly take a hit if the Knicks ultimately add him to the mix.--Jesse Borek
