6 years agoDetroit Tigers outfielder Nicholas Castellanos had a solid day at the plate on Sunday, going 3-for-5 with a double, his 20th home run, two RBI, and two runs scored. He had gone since August 23 without a home run (8 games), but delivered a big two-run shot in the fourth inning off Yankees reliever Tommy Kahnle to end that streak. The two RBI brought his season total to 75, while his .294/.348/.490 slash line continues to impress. Though he had scuffled in his previous seven games (.222/.323/.259 with no home runs or RBI), today's productive day serves as a reminder that Nicholas Castellanos is a coveted fantasy asset and should continue to be plugged into fantasy lineups.--Kyle Ringstad - RotoBaller
