6 years agoDetroit Tigers outfielder Nicholas Castellanos went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Thursday's loss against the Oakland Athletics. Castellanos provided all of the offense that the Tigers could muster against Sean Manaea and company as they lost their ninth contest in a row. The big day raised Castellanos' season slash line to .310/.359/.514 with 11 home runs, 47 RBI, 41 runs scored and a nice .204 ISO. He's been especially hot as of late, slashing .320/.433/.600 over his last seven games.
