4 years agoArizona Diamondbacks shortstop Nick Ahmed (knee) is not in the Opening Day lineup against the Padres. Ahmed has been limited this spring as he deals with patellar tendinitis in his right knee, and he has not played in a game since March 24. In his place, Josh Rojas will get the start at shortstop and will be batting leadoff against Yu Darvish. Rojas had a great Spring Training, slashing .347/.405/.583 with four home runs and 15 RBI in 24 games. Rojas can have value in DFS going forward, but it is probably limited on Thursday in the tough matchup with Darvish.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
