6 years agoPittsburgh Pirates starting pitcher Nick Kingham has been optioned to Triple-A Sunday. Kingham will make room for Ivan Nova, who will return from the disabled list and start for the Pirates Sunday. In six starts this season, Kingham has a 3.82 ERA with 35 strikeouts in 35 1/3 innings. Kingham has had mixed success in the majors, with four of his starts yielding at least three earned runs. Kingham should be back in the majors before too long, but his mixed results mean he can be dropped in shallow mixed leagues.--Ben Rolfe
