4 years agoChicago White Sox second baseman Nick Madrigal will get Wednesday evening off versus the Detroit Tigers. Madrigal is one of the better contact hitters in the league and has been off to a nice start this season. Madrigal is hitting .290 with 13 runs scored and eight RBI on the season. Madrigal makes his money by making contact, but offers very little power. Utility man Leury Garcia will replace Madrigal on Wednesday and bat eighth. Garcia has struggled this season and can be avoided against Casey Mize. Madrigal should be expected to be back in the lineup on Thursday against the Detroit Tigers.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
