Nickeil Alexander-Walker Faces Minutes Cap In Return Sunday
4 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans point guard Nickeil Alexander-Walker has been given the green light to suit up for Sunday's game against Charlotte. Alexander-Walker last took the floor April 4, meaning that he'll be acclimated to the mix with a minutes restriction. Lonzo Ball still stands to see sizable upside with Zion Williamson (finger) and Brandon Ingram (ankle) sidelined, even as the backcourt gains some much-needed depth. Prior to being injured, Alexander-Walker had a seven-game stretch as a starter in which he averaged 18.9 PPG while knocking down 3.6 made triples on a nightly basis. He faces a tough path to reclaiming that role over the final week, but fantasy managers will want to check back for the latest updates on information concerning his minutes allotment.
