5 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans guard Nickeil Alexander-Walker (wrist) says he is no longer wearing a hard cast. He went on to say he doesn't need surgery despite rumors that he would have the procedure. Alexander-Walker was expected ruled out indefinitely on March 7, but he said his timetable was about five weeks. He has been doing workouts on Zoom during the hiatus and appears ready to play once the league returns. However, he probably won't receive much playing time with the Pelicans crowded with talent right now.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
