4 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans guard Nickeil Alexander-Walker dropped a career-high 37 points in a 111-106 loss to the Clippers. With Lonzo Ball (knee), Eric Bledsoe (eye), and Zion Williamson (COVID protocols) all sidelined, Alexander-Walker got his first start of the season- and erupted. He showed off a varied offensive game with incredible usage- 33 minutes and 23 shot attempts- as he made a convincing case for more playing time. Alexander-Walker will be an appealing streamer and DFS play if the Pelicans are shorthanded again on Friday against the Lakers.--Tim Capurso
