3 years agoKansas City Royals shortstop Nicky Lopez (leg) remains out of the lineup for the second straight game on Monday after tweaking his leg during Saturday's game, according to Anne Rogers of MLB.com. Manager Mike Matheny said that Lopez seems to be OK, but they have decided to give him another day off with a left-handed pitcher on the mound for the White Sox. Lopez has really only been an option in deeper formats this season, as he's slashing .280/.362/.346 with eight steals, 22 RBI and 41 runs scored over 88 games. Consider him day-to-day, and expect him to return to the lineup on Tuesday.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
