5 years agoCharlotte Hornets shooting guard/small forward Nicolas Batum has not played since his team’s opening night back on Oct. 23, but he has been given the thumbs up to participate in Saturday’s game versus the Detroit Pistons. Batum, who has been sidelined due to a broken left middle finger, came off the bench in the season opener and figures to retain a similar role upon his return. The 30-year-old has traditionally been a solid contributor across multiple categories but has seen his fantasy relevance diminish alongside his playing time over the calendar year.--Jesse Borek
