4 years agoLos Angeles Clippers forward Nicolas Batum has shined in his spot starts, including a gem on Christmas Day against the Denver Nuggets. Batum posted a double-double in 36 minutes with 13 points on 5-for-8 shooting, 10 rebounds, four assists, two three-pointers, one steal and one block. Batum has been filling in for injured forward Marcus Morris (knee) who is dealing with knee soreness, but may get even more run after Kawhi Leonard (face) had to get eight stitches following the win. The Clippers now start a stretch where they play three times in fours days starting Sunday against the Dallas Mavericks. The Mavericks have been the sixth-worst defense this year and Batum can be used as a streamer in 12-team leagues.--Dale Johnson - RotoBaller
