5 years agoCharlotte Hornets shooting guard/small forward Nicolas Batum returned to the rotation for Saturday’s win over the New York Knicks, having missed his team’s 11 previous games due to a broken left middle finger. Batum saw 29 minutes off the bench, which allowed him to compile three points, nine rebounds and six assists. He took just four shots during his time on the court, all of which came from behind the three-point line. The veteran appears to have immediately supplanted Cody Martin in the rotation and could make for an intriguing DFS punt play Monday against the Raptors due to his ability to contribute in myriad statistical ways.--Jesse Borek
