7 years agoCharlotte Hornets guard/forward Nicolas Batum scored a season-high 26 points in a loss to Miami on Saturday. It was his fifth straight double-digit scoring effort. After an inconsistent return from injury, Batum has put together a string of games that should leave many fantasy owners optimistic that the Frenchman has finally turned the corner. Batum shot a scorching 8-for-12 from the field while making nine of 10 free throws. He also added six assists and three steals in the contest. Those who stayed patient with Batum may finally be rewarded, but it should be noted that Charlotte has put almost its whole lineup on the trading block, which could help or hurt Batum's value going forward.--Wai Sallas
