Nicolas Claxton Faces Multi-Week Absence
3 years agoBrooklyn Nets center Nicolas Claxton (illness) will remain sidelined for approximately another two weeks as he is set to be built back up to rejoin the team, per head coach Steve Nash. Claxton has already missed Brooklyn's four most recent outings, ceding center minutes to the veteran group of LaMarcus Aldridge, Blake Griffin, and Paul Millsap. Claxton started each of the Nets' first three games this season, but he has yet to eclipse the 12-point, seven-board performance he delivered on opening night. When healthy, the 21-year-old is the most exciting fantasy commodity of Brooklyn's center group, so keep an eye out for his return to action in the coming weeks.
