2 years agoRestricted free-agent forward/center Nicolas Claxton is returning to Brooklyn, agreeing to a two-year, $20 million contract. After Houston had expressed interest, the Nets will retain a player with a tremendous upside moving ahead. He finished the 2021-22 season by averaging 8.7 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks throughout 47 games, although he played a bit better during his 19 appearances in the starting lineup. Nevertheless, with Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving potentially on their way out of Brooklyn, Claxton could see a noticeable bump in all fantasy categories this season.
