6 years agoDenver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic connected on an efficient 15 of 23 shooting to score a season-high 40 points while adding 10 rebounds with eight assists in the three-point win over the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday. Jokic had a monster five-game week that included averages of 26.8 points, 11.6 rebounds, and 7.2 assists while his club went won three games. With bodies returning to the Nuggets lineup, we may see a slight dip in production for the MVP candidate going forward.--Gianni Costantiello
