5 years agoIn a 117-108 win over the Phoenix Suns on Saturday, Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic contributed in every category for his fantasy owners with 23 points on 9-for-19 shooting, nine rebounds, six assists, three blocks, and one steal in 34 minutes. The All-NBA center is not known for his shot-stopping ability but has now blocked three shots in two of his previous three games, setting a new season-high. After a rough October and November, the two-time All-Star has turned it on since the calendar flipped to December and is averaging 23 points on 54.2 percent shooting, 10.3 rebounds, 7.2 assists, and 1.4 made threes in his last 35 games. The early-season struggles are clearly behind him, and the Serbian has turned back into the fantasy stud everyone drafted him to be during the preseason.--Euan Leith
