3 years agoDenver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic exceeded the 40-point plateau for the third time this season in Tuesday's loss to the Spurs. Jokic has continued to be a one-man band for Denver's offense, as he finished with 41 points on 18-for-35 shooting, the most field-goal attempts of his career. As has become the trend with Jokic, he also packed the stat sheet in a considerable way: 17 rebounds, four assists and two steals across his 40 minutes. As Denver continues to make a push to move up the Western Conference standings, Jokic remains on track to deliver like he has over the past six games, which has seen an average of 35.8 points, 16.3 boards, and 7.7 assists on a nightly basis.--Jesse Borek
