5 years agoDenver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic did a little bit of everything in a 113-104 win over the Orlando Magic, tallying 18 points, 12 assists, nine rebounds, two triples, a block, and a steal in 31 minutes. After struggling for much of October and November, Jokic has lit December on fire and slammed the buy-low window shut. The 24-year-old has averaged 19.9 points, 9.7 rebounds, and eight assists per game on 52.2/34.2/81.5 percent shooting. He has looked like the Jokic of old. The Serbian center should be able to take advantage of a Minnesota Timberwolves team that could be without star center Karl-Anthony Towns (knee) on Friday night.--Tim Capurso
