3 years agoDenver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic was a shadow of his usual self on Wednesday against OKC, scoring only 13 points and posting seven rebounds and three assists with two blocks and three turnovers. This looked like a good matchup on paper for Jokic, but the team started the game with an 18-point quarter and the Nuggets never really got going. Jokic ended up logging only 25 minutes, and he actually shot a good 5-for-9 from the field. The Thunder did the impossible here by slowing down the reigning MVP, but Jokic will surely gain momentum again soon. He'll be in a perfect spot to do so on Thursday against Charlotte in one of the best matchups a center can have.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
