4 years agoDenver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic flirted with a triple-double in Sunday's win over Orlando. Jokic scored 17 points with 16 assists, nine rebounds, and a steal in 38 minutes of action. He shot just 45.5 percent from the field, but it was his incredible ability as a facilitator that helped the Nuggets make a huge run in the second half to win the game. Since 1980, there have been six 15-plus assist games by centers in the NBA- and Jokic has all six of them, per StatMuse. Up next is a Tuesday matchup against the Pistons- who have actually been solid against most centers this season, though Jokic is clearly not like most centers.--Tim Capurso
