3 years agoDenver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic was named the Most Valuable Player for the second time in as many seasons. Joker was rumored to claim the award. However, it was made official on Wednesday night, capping off a fantastic year for Jokic, who averaged 27.1 points, 13.8 rebounds, and 1.5 steals, all career-highs, while adding 7.9 assists. The 27-year-old should continue to be in the running for the distinction for many seasons ahead.
