4 years agoThis is starting to become another day at the office for Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic, who narrowly missed a triple-double on Christmas Day. Jokic scored a team-high 24 points on 7-for-13 shooting from the field and 9-for-11 from the free throw line in 38 minutes. Jokic also added 10 assists, nine rebounds, one three and one steal, but committed five turnovers. Jokic has been known as a slow starter, but given the quick turnaround, he has been in midseason form. The Nuggets will attempt to get back in the win column against the Houston Rockets Monday, who could be without several key players due to quarantine protocols.
