5 years agoDenver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic connected on 7-for-13 shooting en route to 15 points and he chipped in 11 assists in the losing cause to the 76ers. Jokic also contributed seven rebounds and block with a make from three. Jokic was averaging 27.0 points a night in his last two contests, and this night saw his offense take a backseat with Will Barton going off for a season-high 28 points. We cannot yet say that Jokic is back, but he seems to be slowly trending up. The Nuggets take on the Trail Blazers on Wednesday and Portland are one of the worst teams at guarding the center spot, so there is potential for Jokic to punch out a big line in that contest.--Gianni Costantiello
