5 years agoDenver Nuggets power forward/center Nikola Jokic continued his resurgence on Christmas Day when he scored 25 points on 8-for-20 shooting in the 112-100 loss to the Pelicans. Jokic added 10 boards with four assists but did commit five turnovers in 31 minutes of action. The positive here is that he is keeping up his offensive attack and the Serbian has attempted at least 13 shots in his last 13 outings and that's what owners want to see. The Nuggets host the Grizzlies on Saturday, so we can assume Jokic will keep it going in that one with a couple of days off before tip-off.--Gianni Costantiello
