5 years agoDenver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic tallied 18 points, six rebounds, five assists, one triple, one block, and one steal in a 128-104 win over the Los Angeles Lakers. Jokic shot at least 60 percent from the field for the fourth time this month and made all seven free throws. December has been Jokic's best offensive month by far, with 19.9 points on 53.7/37.2/85.3 percent shooting splits. He and the Nuggets will get a Monday night matchup with the Phoenix Suns, who just allowed 139 points to the Houston Rockets.--Tim Capurso
