6 years agoDenver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic played only 27 minutes on Monday against Boston, but he still got close to a triple-double, picking up eight points, eight assists, and 10 rebounds. It was the second time in a row that he was close to a triple-double, but couldn't quite make it, as he didn't score enough points. He was only 2-for-3 from the field against the C's and 4-for-6 from the line. Jokic has averaged just 10.6 points per game during the last five outings, but his rebounding and assist numbers hover near the double-digit mark, so owners shouldn't feel too disappointed.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
