7 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans power forward Nikola Mirotic made his third start for the team in Sunday's 126-109 win over the Mavericks, logging 31 minutes and scoring 24 points. He did most of his damage from deep, going 6-for-11 with the three-ball. Mirotic shot 8-for-15 overall and added five rebounds and a block to his tally as well. He struggled from deep in his first games as a Pelican, but he's picked it up now, shooting 8-for-16 (50 percent) from downtown in the last two outings. The Pelicans have four games this week, so Mirotic has plenty of chances to impress even more.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
