7 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans power forward Nikola Mirotic enjoyed Saturday's tilt with the Brooklyn Nets, scoring 21 points on 8-for-18 shooting and posting season highs in both rebounds and blocks with 16 and five, respectively. He didn't shoot the three-ball well by going just 2-for-8 from deep, but overall, it was a really impressive outing. Mirotic has so far averaged 14 points, nine rebounds, 1.8 steals and 1.5 blocks in four games as a Pelican, getting 36.5 minutes on the floor. He's so far struggled with his shooting, hitting less than 40 percent of his shots, but the start on his new team is certainly encouraging.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
