6 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans power forward Nikola Mirotic has been ruled out for Monday’s contest against the Los Angeles Clippers due to an illness. His absence will be his third this season, meaning that Julius Randle is likely to absorb the majority of his minutes. Mirotic has slowed on the glass over the last four games averaging just 6.5 rebounds, but continues to fire at will from long range, having attempted at least eight threes (and made three) in each of his last six contests.--Jesse Borek
