6 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans power forward Nikola Mirotic dropped 17 points on 6-for-11 shooting during Wednesday’s win over the Cleveland Cavaliers, making his return from a 12-game absence due to an ankle injury. Mirotic found his spot from behind the three-point line, going 4-for-7 from deep, while also adding four rebounds in his 22 minutes. When the Pelicans face the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday, Mirotic may have the reins loosened on his minutes restriction, so it’s safe to begin rostering him again in the midst of what has been a career season for the 27-year-old.--Jesse Borek
