6 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans power forward Nikola Mirotic finished with 19 points on 5-for-14 shooting during Friday’s loss to the New York Knicks. The big man added nine rebounds, narrowly missing out on yet another double-double. On top of his top notch base contributions, Mirotic has also gotten to the free-throw line at a career-best rate to start the season, going 6-for-7 from the line Friday. Mirotic could feast Saturday when he faces off with the Washington Wizards, whom are yielding opponents to a 38.1 three-point field goal percentage this season, the third-worst mark in the league.--Jesse Borek
