6 years agoOrlando Magic center Nikola Vucevic ended up with 12 points, eight rebounds, four assists and four blocked shots across 22 minutes in Friday's 120-88 loss against the Charlotte Hornets. He was a very efficient 6-for-11 from the field, and his minutes were curtailed with the game out of hand for most of the second half. Mohamed Bamba played extended minutes, and head coach Steve Clifford shot down questions about when Bamba is going to replace Vucevic. "I don't know why we would even have a conversation like that," Clifford said. "Mo is going to be out there playing quality minutes, but he's not ready physically to play starters' minutes." Clifford is wisely committed to Vucevic as his starting center, which is good news for fantasy owners.--Daniel Dobish
