4 years agoMemphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant (ankle) was injured during the matchup with the Brooklyn Nets on Monday night. The sophomore tweaked his left ankle and needed assistance back to the locker room. He did not return to the game and was observed wearing a boot later on in the evening. Although an initial x-ray ruled out a fracture, the team will be looking for a favorable report after an MRI, which may come as early as Tuesday. Morant struggled before his premature departure, scoring only seven points on 2-for-7 shooting from the field throughout 13 minutes of action.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
