6 years agoNew York Knicks power forward/center Noah Vonleh tallied 11 points on 5-for-10 shooting from the field and 1-for-2 shooting from the three-point line in Monday's loss to the Wizards. He had eight rebounds, one assist, one block, and four turnovers in 31 minutes. The 23-year-old shot the ball well once again and reached double-figures for a second consecutive game. However, the fifth-year pro has struggled rebounding the ball the past two games as his one board for every 5.15 minutes on the floor is well below his season average of one carom per 3.12 minutes. The Indiana product is averaging 13.0 points, 6.5 caroms and three turnovers while making 11 of 16 shots from the floor as well as four of five from beyond the arc. Vonleh has an appealing matchup against the Celtics on Thursday as he is averaging 11.5 points and 11.5 rebounds along with three assists as well as 1.5 blocks in the previous two meetings between the teams.--Daniel Benjamin
