3 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals second baseman Nolan Gorman (back) is expected to be back in the starting lineup for Friday's day game against the Chicago Cubs. Gorman was held out of each of the last two games due to lower-back tightness. Cardinals manager Oliver Marmol stated that Gorman came through his pregame work on Thursday fine and that the decision to keep him out on Thursday was essentially to ensure he'd be a "full go" on Friday. The rookie is off to a great start to his MLB career. Over 10 games, he's slashing .387/.472/.677 with two home runs, seven RBI and nine runs.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
