3 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals infield prospect Nolan Gorman will be promoted from Triple-A ahead of Friday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates. According to Cardinals beat writer Derrick Goold, Gorman will start at second base while making his MLB debut on Friday. Gorman is ranked as the 29th overall prospect in the majors by MLB Pipeline. He has been simply on fire at Triple-A this year, slashing .308/.367/.677 with 15 home runs over 34 games.
