5 years agoAfter exiting Monday's game early, Texas Rangers outfielder Nomar Mazara (oblique) has been placed on the injured list with an oblique strain, according to Dallas Morning News writer Evan Grant. Shin-Soo Choo and Hunter Pence will likely see a slight increase in playing time with Mazara out. In a corresponding move, the Rangers have called up Nick Solak, who will make his major league debut in Game 1 of Tuesday's doubleheader.
