7 years agoTexas Rangers outfielder Nomar Mazara (illness) was back in the lineup Wednesday against the Dodgers. Mazara was 0-for-5 with one strikeout in his return, but the fact the Rangers chose to put him out there is a good sign. With the Rangers having a day off Thursday, it would have been easy for them to give Mazara an extra day to get over his flu-like symptoms. However, Mazara being back in the lineup indicates the illness was extremely mild and there is nothing to worry about. Mazara, who has 14 home runs this season, should be considered good to go for the weekend and into next week.--Ben Rolfe
