3 years agoThe San Diego Padres will be calling up outfielder Nomar Mazara from Triple-A, according to Robert Murray of MLB Insider. The 27-year-old has been swinging a hot bat at Triple-A this year. Over 35 games, he's slashed .367/.454/.641 with seven home runs, 27 RBI and 32 runs. Mazara was a highly-touted prospect coming up through the Texas Rangers' organization several years back. He struggled to find consistency during his time in the majors with the Rangers and has been bouncing around the league since parting ways with the organization in 2019.
